ClearPayout (“we”) processes marketplace settlement data so we can draft QuickBooks Online journal entries that match your bank deposits. We sell software to businesses, not ads against consumer profiles.
What we collect
- Account email, name, and billing identifiers (Stripe customer / subscription ids).
- OAuth tokens for QuickBooks Online and, when you connect them, Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.
- Settlement reports, payout identifiers, fee breakdowns, and the journal entries we post.
- Technical logs (IP, user agent) needed to secure the service.
Legal bases (GDPR)
Contract (to deliver the service you subscribe to), legitimate interests (security, product integrity), and consent where required for optional marketing. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA / CPRA.
Your rights
EEA/UK residents may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell or share for cross-context advertising. Email privacy@clearpayout.example (replace after you register a domain). We will not require you to create an account to submit a request.
Processors
Stripe (payments), Intuit QuickBooks Online, Amazon / Walmart / eBay (when connected), Cloudflare (hosting), and your chosen Postgres provider. Each is bound by their own DPA. Settlement fixtures in the demo never leave this application.
Retention
We keep books-related records for the life of the workspace plus a period required for tax disputes, then delete or anonymize. You may export or delete a workspace from the app once that path is shipped.
